New identity for the Rabo Cycling Team

Since launching the Rabo Cycling Plan in 1995, the Rabobank Cycling Team has spearheaded Rabobank’s positioning within professional cycling. In preparation for the Tour de France 2011, Ping-pong Design (Rotterdam) has revitalized the team’s look and feel, ranging from helmets to fleet.

The new jerseys revive of the basic components in the Rabobank identity: An expression that is bright, clear, and powerful. The graphic simplicity and heraldic strength of the shirts is a homage to the team’s historical heritage.

The fleet features enlarged versions of the jerseys spanning across the length of the vehicles, with a sharp framing aimed at quick recognition in the eyes of the camera. From miles away the team will be recognized., and the colors and images will stick in your mind long after the team rolls by you.

The new designs premiere today at an event in the Efteling amusement-park in the Netherlands.
